Brief
To upgrade Priory Schools existing Wireless Infrastructure to meet their current school infrastructure requirements
The Project
The project consisted of two parts. One was upgrading and adding additional Network cabling infrastructure for new network points internally and externally. The other part of the project was upgrading and installing new Ruckus Access points in all the classrooms, key office locations and six external points around the school. The school also had a requirement to protect the six external access points and the new access point in the schools largest hall area.
Hardware
35 x Ruckus R320 Access Points (all fitted internally in the school)
6 x Ruckus T310 Access Points (All fitted externally)
7 x Protective cages for the external T310 Access points and the R320 Access point within the main sports hall
18 x New RJ45 Data point modules
2 x 24 Port Cisco Poe Switches
Cabling Infrastructure
18 x New Cat 6 Data cabling runs to various parts of the school. All external Cat6 data runs were done using appropriate external Cat6 cabling
